The fluffy outbred Basia does not depart from the savior - Sasha Karpaeva. Apparently, he still recalls the narrow pipe of the ventilation shaft of a nine-story building. An unfortunate animal spent 10 days inside this endlessly long pipe. She was taken out of the dark captivity the day before. “About two weeks ago, I heard a meow: a sound came through the wall of the room,” says schoolgirl Sasha. - I also thought: neighbors got a cat. But the screams were so alarming that I began to listen more closely. In the bathroom, we removed the grate from the ventilation: meowing came from below!

Sasha rushed to the local housing office. The public utilities came, looked, listened and shrugged: how to get a cat is not clear. There is no ventilation shaft plan. - But a day later two girls came to us, workers of the housing office. So they helped us a lot, contacted the Ministry of Emergencies, consulted with the builders, ”says Sasha. - The husband of one of our assistants found a ventilation scheme on the Internet. There was only one way out: to drill a wall. But we live on the fourth floor, and the cat sat on the level of the first. We did not communicate with a neighbor on the ground floor before this incident. And then they came: help save the animal ...

The cat, meanwhile, was weakening. The meow was quieter, with large gaps. - In a plastic cut-off glass, I applied food, tied this bowl to a long rope and lowered it down, - the schoolgirl says. - The cat ate everything to the tiniest extent, once gnawed off the glass itself. Maybe she ate it.

A neighbor from the first floor was imbued with the despair of the girl. Allowed to remove two tiles from the wall in the bathroom and punch a hole with a puncher. Through this hole and got a cat. The hole is already closed, the tile is glued to its original place.

The veterinarian, to whom the cat was immediately taken, determined that the animal was very stressed. Against the background of a nervous shock, a fungus developed: the coat crumbles. Plus worms, fleas, ear mites. Basia is now being treated intensively. And then what? “And then we'll keep it for ourselves,” Sasha says. - Parents do not mind, because we saved her together. The cat is young, not more than a year. It is seen that home.
